Dmoz launches new (beta) music directory

It's a great idea. I hope they get it going. The musicmoz categories that correspond to music clients I have don't yet show entries (or editors). Also, no search function yet....

I'm wondering why they didn't port some listings from similar categories in the main dmoz site.

I was under the impression that this was _not_ an ODP-related project.

If it's not ODP related (there's no statement I could find one way or the other), the look and feel are most definitely misleading.

It isn't dmoz related.

It was set up by 2 dmoz metas and a dmoz editall with the purpose of building a comprehensive music database.

Much of it is currently under construction at the moment, however they are accepting editors to help edit.
