Hello,

After the site is listed in ODP how long it takes until it shows up in dmoz.org searches.

Thanks

I am still waiting for one of my sites to show up......ODP can be pretty tough some times.

Mine showed up today, but it can not be found when it is searched for even when using it's own title as search term. Does it take some time for dmoz.org to register it in it's data base so it can be searched for?

On the average, it takes about 3 days to one week before you'll see a newly added link (or a newly created category even) show up in ODP search.

You might want to check the URL of the site as it is listed.

How likely is to get double listing at ODP? I noticed that some of my competitors have double listing for the same site.

michaelday:

There are some instances in which a site might be listed in ODP in both a subject category and a regional category, such as a site about a professional sports team, or a business site where the company info shows it is located somewhere.

If your site is relevant for more than one category you can submit in the appropriate ones and have more than one listing.

You might also want to read Laisha's article [dmoz.org] about deeplinking.
