In general, submitters will also want to read the Adult guidelines [dmoz.org] to be sure that if your site belongs there, you know it and submit there.

If you submit an Adult site to the general directory, your wait will likely be longer due to the fact that the majority of editors are not familiar enough with Adult taxonomy to correctly assign a category, so it makes several stops on the way to Adult.

Note: This forum does not specifically discuss Adult listings, Near Adult listings, or mature content, and I would appreciate it if we all keep that in mind when posting anything after this post. I am simply pointing to those guidelines for reference, not discussion of why they are what they are, better ideas for them, or other Adult discussion.
