How to thank an ODP editor?

We all grumble when it takes a long time to get listed in ODP, and often we have good reason.

I just submitted 6 days ago in category with no editor, and I thought it was going to be a long, long wait. None of the related categories had editors either, and the editor above showed a huge number of categories...

Anyway, I just got listed, in only 6 days... the quickest listing I've gotten... and I assume it was because that higher category editor is working really hard. Can ODP editors on the board here tell me if it would be appropriate to thank him, and if I can assume that he's the one who listed me?
