Is there any benefit to be had from submitting the page that you are listed on in the directories (DMOZ, Yahoo, etc.) I have been doing this lately and the SERP's are now full of directory listing in some of my keyword phrases. Funny thing is they show up within days whereas my sites seem to take 2 months to catch up.

Is this a true BoneHead move or is it a good thing to do?

I am not sure I understand what you mean.

Various smaller directories take their listings from ODP. Its about 15 mins work to submit, and IMO it is worth the time.

Ofc I just submitted the company main page, and not the dir entry in say looksmart or yahoo.

Just ask yourself: how much sales do I need to justify to spend 15 mins of my time?

Hey skirril.

To clarify...
I am submitting the SERP page from the directories (Dmoz, etc.) after I am listed in them..the page has my listing on it.

The search engines are indexing these pages under my keywords and they do it rather quickly.

Any benefit to this I wonder???
