NBCi is the old "Snap.com" which has been around for approx. 2 years now (search on "Snap is updating" or just "Snap" -we've had some good stuff on them).

The main database is theirs -it's called "LiveDirectory" and has two levels; sites are promoted to the upper level by click popularity. NBCi also uses INK for filler (?? someone verify that for me please) and now GoTo is fed in.

I'm NBCi's poster child and head cheerleader. They do a great, great job for me, only now being matched by google and google.yahoo. -but NBCi seems to be very sensitive to user demographics, you'll find others here that say they get little traffic at all.
