Forum Moderators: open
We have been listed in dmoz for over 6 years now.
The url is causing us a problem for google we think as it is listed without the www causing us duplicate penalties in google.
This has not been a problem until last october.
I have submitted the site for change but there is no editor for this category. What else can we do?
Beck.

There is no "referring people to other forums", just reminding them they have already been there and had the definitive, final, expert opinion direct from the source.
Does WebmasterWorld really need a rehash of something already done to death elsewhere? Rehashing it here just gives more troll food to the ODP bashers.
It's a valid response to the same person as the other forum. I refrained from mentioning the several other co-incedental appearances of the same question in a few other SEO forums - since in those cases the name is different.
It's called cross-posting, and should be discouraged, along with another activity called thread hijacking.

Yes. WebmasterWorld is a stand-alone forum. What happens elsewhere is irrelevant, especially at that resource zone website, which isn't a forum but a question and answer board.

I hope you are not implying that I was thread hijacking. You're the one who hijacked with some non-answer that belittled the OP.
