pagerank '0' - Is there any value in getting listed.

I have been looking at some niche directories for a number of my clients. Whilst the directories home pages typically have a pagerank of 3-5, I am finding that many of the pages where an inclusion occurs the page rank is often '0'.

Is there any value in getting listed.

Any thoughts

Extra Traffic and perhaps more s.e. bot activity - so yes. extra pr value? no.

Sheep- I'll give you my experience. Directories are not for backlinks or pr but I happened to list in one that has off and on returned number one in google with my site and description so that even tho this site is sandboxed I am still only two clicks away for the surfer and giving me lots of traffic.

If the page is indexed and has good neighbors around, and isn't too costly, then perhaps it makes sense.

Thanks for the input.

I guess I'll give some of these directories a try and see what happens.
