There seems to be a new directory on the horizon. Of course better than the rest...

Our links are classified more accurately and described more concisely than any other directory, hands down! The methods we use have been manufactured to a science and break new ground.

The site will get a small push of traffic from it’s parent company’s (Powerfirm.com, LLC) wide variety of domain names. Approximately 2500 unique visitors daily will be forwarded to Ranks.com, without having to spend a dime.

Seems to be Pay for Play as well

How do we maximize the “hot spot” revenue? To start, we will have a standard listing fee of $200-500 monthly per location. With our current directory of 70 categories, it would allow us to sell a maximum of 350 locations. At a low average of $300 per location, that would give us a hot spot revenue of $105,000/mo once the spots are completely filled. At that time, we will switch from a flat fee to an automated real-time auction where all sites listed will have the opportunity to bid for a spot. The market then decides how much a hot spot is worth in each category, boosting our revenues each month as traffic compiles.

Hmmm...

Woz,

Of course they are going to be accurate seeing as how much they want each month. Scientific... Who wants to pay the most gets top slot!

Intersting concept in that they sell you your placement for the month instead of real time like other PPC's.

OK, who wants to give them $500 upfront for possible traffic?

eljefe3,

exactly!

>Who wants to pay...

Bad time to lauch a PFP, especially with such a high price tag for an unproven directory. Still, I wish then success.
