Also, my site is new but I managed to get a dmoz listing already (miracles happen). I still have PR0 and Google doesn't yet show any inbound links (I've gained about 200). Is this because I've only been live for 3-4 weeks? I show up on page 10 of a search for my exact title phrase (also my URL)...Hopefully this will improve when google updates...

You may have no Page Rank because Google updated to soon before they would include your web site in the update on the toolbar, so you may have to wait for a few months to see your Page Rank, but it doesn't matter anyway because it's out of date anyway. Backlinks may also have been updated to soon before it would show up.
I'm still confused about the yahoo directory though. In almost any category that has multiple pages, the second page and onwards see a drastic reduction in PR. I've heard that dynamic urls like yahoo uses (that have "?" in the url) are not well viewed by search engines. And what reason am I submitting for if not to increase my traffic through search engines?
Everyone seems to say that PR doesn't matter anymore, but while there may be other important factors, PR is still important. You still can't rank for any competitive search term without good links. The questionable way yahoo structures their categories makes me wonder if it will help me in any search engine other than yahoo...and some users here even doubt that it will do that.
