Does that exist? I guess hiring outsourced help would do this, but I wonder if there are companies specialized on doing this.

there are a good number of companies that offer these services. I can think of at least 3 off the top of my head, but they would probalby be nixed if I put links in the post here.
if you do it yourself two time saving tools are excel and roboform.
make sure you mix the anchor text and listing description

Generally speaking if you have 100s or 1000s of links to your site all with the same anchor text it looks artificial. Of course, when submitting to directories it has to be assumed that most webmasters will generally use the same title, description, etc. but using slightly different info for your incoming links is just a good habit to get in to.
