biz directory is pretty good.

biz directory does look good but every single directory what use it all look the same.

Do they all use the same directory tree structure.?

No, the tree structure is done by the buyer. But yeah I agree that most of them look the same. So if you do use that one, atleast make some mods to it to make it different and use a unique category structure if possible. :)

I personally think the best directory script is from Gossamer-Threads. They offer a comprehensive support forum. Plus there are a lot of third part plugins (Paid and Free) that allow you to customize the directory structure so that it doesn't look like everyone elses directory. Hotscrips uses this software. A close second is Focalmedia's script. This script is also very customizable, but does not have the depth of support offered by Gossamer. I have seen a number of sites using the Biz Directory script recently, but they all look the same and there seems to be limited support.

Thats not true from where I am sitting, the support from focalmedia goes well beyond the normal realms of a working day, I have had response from these guys at 8pm on a Sunday.

I have done beta testing for the scripts and any minor problems have been rectified very quickly, the program is very stable and without any errors.

what support does Gossamer offer more than that?

Focal media is my fav so far from an evaluation stand, but I can't seem to find any third party mods to it. There are things extra I am looking for, like reciprocal link checker.
