Hi,

I have a web directory. Recently I have noticed an increased submission for pharmacy sites. Are these sites legal? Is it legal to sell drugs on the internet?
I would like to know what is your policy about linking to pharmacy sites(if you have a directory or a links page).

Thanks in advance

Your question is unanswerable without you stating what country you live in, if your concern is the legality of you linking to these pharamacy sites. As for the pharmacy sites themselves being legal, as in many countries outside of some controlled substance with recreational potential, all other drugs can be sold without a prescription. Thus many of the sites you refer to are indeed legal.

My suggestion is maybe to put a disclaimer on your index page saying something to the affect that you are not responsible for anything that might come out of visitors going to these links.

Hi kazecoder,
Good advice. I will do that this weekend.

Hi rfgdxm1,

Thank you for the reply.

That is what that confuses me. How come I need a perscription to buy from the corner drugstore, but not over the internet. Isn't that fishy. Most of these sites sell prerscription drugs worldwide and without a perscription. They claim to have doctors on staff to do this. Some have questionares to fill but some don't. How can a doctor make a diognosis over the net?
I think it's probably a matter of time before enough people get hurt and then you will have to remove all those links.

Thanks again
