Is anyone else experiencing a time-out with dmoz? Is their site down? Any input would help.

The site is up and running most of the times I accessed it today. I guess that a huge wave of automated traffic runs in at the moment, and public servers ran into their connection limits.

Yes, I also had trouble accessing the site yesterday. But it seems to be ok today.
