Looksmart Clicks Increasing

Junk or MSN?

We keep seeing increases in clicks, but can't tell where it's coming from. Some results are still on MSN, but are they showing more or is Looksmart ****ing out listings to junk sites?

I wish they had a conversion tracker like the other PPC's.

LS has been signing some new partners lately. Trafic in some cases was almost back up to the good ol' MSN days but they weren't buying like MSN visitors. We dropped all big LookSmart campaigns. Couldn't really tell where the trafic was coming from either.

I don't use them anymore. Could you add tracking URLs to see where the traffic is coming from?

I dropped my looksmart listings about 2 months ago. I was getting "junk" traffic. I had about 200 pages in looksmart. They were seasonal listings so i would take some out and add some every 3 months or so. I found out they were NOT taking out the ones i requested them to , resulting in VERY HIGH bills. I refused to pay and then they threatened me with lawyers , so i did my research and figured out they actually owed ME money. Not much but something. Be careful of looksmart. This actually happened tom someone else in my industry as well as me. So BEWARE of Looksmart.

Plus the traffic is junk since MSN dropped them. There is a reason why you are now getting the same traffic but less conversions.
