The ODP don't actualy index sites. It's very much a manual process involving user contributed sites with editors to review them. In order to get listed you need to activly suggest your website to them.

If you have already suggested your site then all you can really do is sit tight and wait.. It has been knows to take over a year within some categories.

There is also the open directory public forums where you can ask questions about the status af a submission. A search on Google for ODP public forum should point you in the right direction.

If you mean included in the ODDP: under normal circumstances you can do a URL search from the ODP home page.

Remember to drop the www bit when you search -- so:

WebmasterWorld.com
not
www.WebmasterWorld.com

But these are not normal circumstances. The OPD search is broken and may not show sites that are actually there.

There are a couple of alternative to waiting for the search to be fixed. For example, if you are in a hurry and have the bandwidth: download the weekly RDF file and search that:

[rdf.dmoz.org...]

I hope you can remember the category you submitted to, because as Victor says the ODP search is broken.
