Checking previous application to dmoz

I can't remember if I appled to dmoz or not.

I can't remember if I applied to dmoz or not, but they say they'll penalize and possibly permanently ban me if I apply again with the same URL. I can't find my application in my records, but I'm almost positive I applied about 2 months ago (I know they can take 6 months to respond). Is there any way for me to check with them or to reapply without getting penalized or banned?

There is a way you can check -- ask over at the DMOZ public forum. You'll need to know the category you submitted to.

(WMW TOS forbid telling you the URL though. You'll have to find it yourself).

Two submissions in two months won't get you tagged as a spammer.

Good luck. Don't lose your temper if a stuck-up editor replies rudely. They typically take great pains to research all your previous requests for info and won't hesitate to get all anal on you if you asked 29 days previously instead of 30
