A couple of sites that I run are rececntly listed in the DMOZ directory but are not found in the Google Directory section. Whats the deal here? Any help would be appreciated.

It can take months for Google to update their version. The sites will probably get in the G directory eventually, just not worth losing any sleep over.

I think (and I stand to be corrected on this) that the latest version of the Google Directory (that was just updated a week or so ago) was probably the version from DMOZ of late February. If you were added to DMOZ after then, then you should be in the next update of the Google Directory.

The current version of the Google Directory has some encoding issues in some categories, so it might be better that your site is noticed in the next update when hopefully Google will be able to make better sense of the RDF dump that they download from the ODP site whenever they next get round to it.
