Looking ahead at the first quarter, LookSmart expects a net loss of $13 million on sales of $17 million. That is within analysts' expectations, according to a Thomson First Call tally. But for the year, the company expects a net loss of $28 million on total sales somewhere between $45 million and $50 million. That's at the low end of expectations.

Hmmm... sounds like an impending garage sale.

Wonder if I can pick up some cheap computer equipment...

I used to have only $70 expenses per month.

But for last month and this month, they finish up my $150 budget in 10 days! Claiming delivery of 1000+ clicks. How could they send more now after they lost their giant partner MSN?! Are they cheating?

We also saw a large increase in traffic with our remaining accounts (more than OV and AW combined, with none of it converting). This prompted me to go ahead and cancel them.. I'm happy to be finally done with L$

They charge me $150 for 1000 billable clicks for the last 10 days and they even claimed to have delivered to me 2700+ clicks!

I can't find them in the log files! SCAM!

Ours have been as high if not higher than before the "MSN split". Makes ya wonder, especially since the listings don't always show on MSN now.

Microsoft has stop partnering with them and looksmart will no longer appear in MSN.

Should I cancel my account?

If its not profitable cancel it. If it is, let it run.

I forgot that i have tracking URL with looksmart. So I parse my logs for all looksmart referrals. Guess what?

They claimed to have deliver 2700+ clicks with 1500 billabale.

My log shows 425 referrals with over 90% of them are user agent 'Microsoft URL Control - 6.00.8862'.

First, it does not match what they claimed. 2nd, they send junk traffic.
