Zeal, Looksmart, and MSN searches

What's the connection?

I got my website listed in Zeal!

Now I notice that it comes up well in MSN searches.

Is this the benefit of the Zeal listing?

If I had a commercial site in the Looksmart directory, is this what I'd be paying 15 cents a click for?

And where is MSN getting its search results from anyway? MSN seems to have a lot less breadth than Google does (fewer pages in the index).

A Zeal listing is just like a Looksmart one. MSN uses Inktomi after the LS listings.

Looksmart is the paid/commercial directory...I don't know the exact costs but you should be able to check 'em out on their site.

Yup. It's good to spread your exposure.

Congrats, a Zeal listing can do you a lot of good. Yes, it's the same as a Looksmart listing but for noncommercial sites, and both feed MSN search results.
