looksmart took the money and run

I recently submited my site to looksmart who promptly took my money and I have never heard from them since.They say that they will look at website within five days but I have not heard a word from them in three weeks and they haven't listed me either.
I submitted to yahoo directory same time, no problem at all. I look at looksmart and they say that paying the money is no guarantee of a listing etc. but to not even bother to respond in three weeks I feel is appalling.
I wonder if anyone has an address for looksmart in London preferably as I normally find a personnel visit sorts these things out once and for all. Please send any address you have in london for looksmart via stickymail so I can visit them in person and sort this out. I am not one for solicitors I like more direct action. Are microsoft pulling the plug on looksmart like they did realnames? Anyone got an address in london? I will find out whats going on.

If you are referring to Looksmart UK, they have been in business for years and I would imagine that this is a rare oversight, if true. Contact details are on their site. For queries an email query should be addressed to [e-mail] and other written notices addressed to LookSmart Submit Your Site, Elizabeth House, 39 York Road, London SE1 7NQ.

The people there are usually very helpful if you contact them.

As for rest of post I resent the fact you imply I am lying "if true" I have been in business far longer than looksmart and my integrety has never been questioned untill you implied I was lying about paying looksmart and recieving no service and no feedback.Do you want to see the credit card bill as looksmart couldn't even be bothered to send invoice or reciept, something that is illegal in uk when charging vat like they do so they better hurry with that at least.
I also notice a number of people experiencing same problem when I did a search on looksmart. Are we all lying then?

Recent threads suggest microsoft are not listing looksmart directory. Its well known google is looking for new partner after yahoo so MSN seems natural choice.

Members suggest that MSN is listing either google and inkomi results. But they are probably lying according to our friend above

Numerous folks have looked at LookSmart in a less than favorable light in the past but haven't heard of this before. I'd just follow up with em' and get it corrected. If they don't follow up on the guarantee time wise, seems like they ought to comp it, but they probably don't guarantee a listing.

It can take up to 5 days to get a response from LookSmart customer service for small biz listings in the US.

Recent threads suggest MSN are not showing LookSmart US directory results - this is true of MSN UK and also MSN beta test results which have been doing this for years.

I think you find flaming people is not allowed here and would ask you to remove the statements which imply I have called you a "liar" when I did not.
