I'm sure this has come up before but I can't find it written anywhere. How long does it take to get listed in odp from the time you submit? Are we talking days, weeks, months? It's been a few weeks and am wondering if I should be getting concerned that I'm not listed yet.

There is really no set time. Since it's all volunteer, and since some categories get far more submissions than others, it varies greatly.

How long have you waited? And for which category?

Been waiting for about a month now in the shopping/food/condiments/sauces catagory.
Thanks for the words!

First Request in ODP about mit october. was in by beginning of nov.

Requested a change before x-mas, which was done about january.

So my guess: 2 weeks, or so.

If it is the URL in your profile, it was actually submitted to Shopping: Food: Condiments: Sauces: Hot and Pepper (one below where you thought).

It has now been listed, although it may take a day or two to show up on the public side.

Cute site. :)

Are there some known IP addresses I can check for in my logs to see if ODP staff (or edtior) has visited my site?

I have got one referrer from dmoz org, where the ua field indicated it might have been an editor.
