Hi,

via the Alexa-Toolbar, I found that Nerdworld.com is listing my site. Since I never heard of Nerdworld (and surely never filed for a listing) I checked the site and found a quite intresting directory.

A real cool tool is the "find category by keyword" search when trying to add a new URL.

Where does Nerdworld rank among directories? Are they good, bad or shady? Any experiences and do's or dont's?

But that's where only the sponsored results are coming from?

Instead of trying to figure out where small sites are picking up your listings from it is a better idea to create more content to be picked up

Really? Never thought of that...

(Do I need to point out that that was irony? Probably yes - one never knows...)

As a metter of fact, BOTH is important to me. Maybe it's just me but I like to know where a site - completely unknown to me - has got my site information from. This is - in my opinion - NOTHING to do with how much or how few content is on my site. It's just two completely different things.
