Hi All,
I just have to share this beauty. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. An editor managed to 'translate' some of my important words in a directory description.

gallery --> repository
artists --> creators

it's a country based directory affiliated with one of the big ones. Even the place pointer in the description was converted to 'local'.

Well, it's not high traffic anyway and for 'art' I'm still ranking # 1 in this directory.
It smells like a competitor/editor was involved.

If this is happening though than I wonder who is the victim in all this. I'm sure it's the person who is doing the actual searching and who is eventually presented with very biased results. I'm convinced that if this is getting more common than in the end we all loose.

Oh, this guy is good! He must own a nifty little "how to screw up search terms" thesaurus.

One of my pet peeves is directory editors who refuse to use meta descriptions even when they are good. *sigh*

What makes a good editor. I just signed up at DMOZ to be one.
