If dmoz decides not to list your site, do they send you an email to tell you or just do nothing?

A few other questions: If a category has an editor does it always say so at the bottom of the page?
If a category does not have an editor, how do sites get reviewed and listed in that category?

Generally you will not be notified if your site is rejected.

If there is an editor listed at the bottom of a category page he/she can edit in that category and any sub categories of it.

If a category does not have a listed editor, any editor further up that category tree can edit within that category. In addition there are editors with permission to edit anywhere within the directory who can edit submissions.
