Seems like I always get the weird deals. I was pleasantly surprised to find that one of my sites had achieved a #5 ranking for my most competitive single keyword, and 3 other top 10 phrases. I did NOT however pay the $199 fee, or the $99 fee, or any fee at all. As a matter of fact I didn't submit the site to LookSmart at all, but there it is with 4 top 10 rankings in the "Reviewed Web Sites" area. How I love a mystery.

Looksmart editors go out foraging on their own. These are great referrers for me, watch for strong traffic from the partners.

Thanks rc. It's nice to have that one solved. And yes....I have seen improvement in rankings on MSN already. The others haven't moved much at this point.
