Hi guys. My site has been in the dmoz listings now for 6 weeks. Funny thing is though that when I search my keyterm in google my site still comes up number 1 but I still do not have a reference to Dmoz. According to my listing
I do not have a directory listing.

Now I am a bit confused about this as I thought that google threw relevance to dmoz and so shouldn't my site have dropped. Anyway good it hasn't but I feel this could happen at any time. So could anyone tell me how long it takes for google to acknowledge a dmoz listing.

Thanks

DMOZ makes their directory listing available as an RDF dump for anyone who wants to use it. Normally this is done on a weekly basis (I think) but could possibly be a bit irregular at the moment because of the server upgrades at DMOZ. Google used to update their directory from the RDF dump approximately monthly although, with all the changes going on at the moment, who knows.
