ODP Search-able

Once listed (in category), when does listing show up in results?

I'm sure this has been addressed, I just couldn't find it.

I've finally been listed in DMOZ :-) But I only see my URL in the category submitted to.

When might I show up in the search results for my (well-optimized) keyword?

I can drill down into the category > sub-category > etc., and find my listing (only accepted a week ago). But when, on the ODP home page (for instance), I type in my main keyword in the Search bar I see several of the URLs listed in my category but mine isn't offered as one of the results.

Perhaps a simpler way to ask is how often is the ODP Search Database updated?

"Normal" update is once a week.

Right now staff is in the middle of a big hardware shuffle that will add multiple servers to the search capability, but ... until it's done (which will probably be another 3 weeks at least) I'd expect search to be NOT updated regularly, if at all.
