Can someone provide me an example where the dmoz's rdf dump is being used.

Do not hesitate to sticky me should you not want to post it.

No example? Well, I would just like to know what the rdf dump can be used for
and what are the pros and cons?

These are the ones listed in the ODP [dmoz.org].

Ehm... what about Google? :)

In any case, the link posted by Paul_in_South_Africa provides the most comprehensive list available of Dmoz data users.

Just notice that most of them do not use the RDF but one of the many available scripts to fetch dmoz data live. The RDF users are usually noted in the site description.

As you have the power, I assume you added Google [dmoz.org]

Uh, Google's there in that category already and has been since at least 2000.

Just letting you all know that [rdf.dmoz.org...] has been off for at least 24 hours, is still off, and there is no (known, {to me at least}) estimated time that it will be back on. It gives "connection refused" errors in Mozilla.
