Looksmart and MSN

Hello.

We know that MSN is fed by Looksmart (primary results) and that Looksmart has country specific sites in Australia, Canada, France, NZ and US. However, who feeds MSN in other countries such as India and Mexico etc? Is it a case of submitting to looksmart.co.uk in your each different language?

In Japan MSN is fed by Overture and Inktomi in addition to LookSmart. In order to get into LookSmart here you'd have to submit locally in Japanese. They have a separate directory from other language directories. I'm not sure what the overlap is among English or other language LookSmart directories.

Free Zeal listings seem to give our clients worldwide exposure in most MSN version for searches in English.

yep, Looksmart may be the same though. Non-commercial can be rather broad as defined by Zeal but any page page that is trying to sell something will probably not get in but soemtimes there are soime surprises.
