Anyone got a list of directories to help my miserable PR3 get off the floor. (Yes I know, I should be out there getting links, but would you link with one of the pariahs of the western world?)

We had a discussion about this topic a while back that had some good suggestions for finding them:

If your interest here is just Google PR, then ask your cousin Kim for a link from her PR6 personal home page. I've seen quite a few teenagers home pages with a decent PR, which I'll define as 4 or better. In terms of PR, getting links from family and friends should be the first strategy, as these links can be added quick. If your site is just a PR3, then either it is very new, or you aren't trying very hard for links.

You can do a search for words related to the site and tack on phrases or words that would lead to directories. widgets + directory, widgets + directories (in case someone has a page dedicated to listing directories), widget directory - any word or phrases in combination with "add url" "link to us" "submit your link" "submit your site," the list and combination of plural and singular words and phrases goes on, and once some quality sites are found, you can follow leads to check backlinks from there and examine for quality.
