The following category DOES NOT exist in GOOGLE. But it DOES exist in DMOZ:
Regional > Europe > Czech Republic > REGIONS > Prague > Travel and Tourism > Travel Guides
[dmoz.com ]
Do you know any possibility to how to add my page to the category on GOOGLE?
Thanks, Stepan
Every so often, Google grabs a copy of the Open Directory, and publishes it (basically unchanged) as the "Google Open Directory".
When you see a category at directory.google.com but not at dmoz.org, that means that it _used_ to be that way at dmoz.org, but it has been changed, and sooner or later google will change also.
Second, remember that "submit your site" to the directory is not "immediately add the site". It will wait for a human editor review and either add it to the Open Directory, reject it, or maybe move it to some other category (to be added or rejected).
All of the above is not the same thing as submitting a site to the Google SEARCH ENGINE (which only waits a few days or weeks for the googlebot spider to read and index it.) True, once a site gets added to the Open Directory, googlebot will find it -- but you don't have to wait till then. And submitting a site to the Google SEARCH ENGINE will NOT get it reviewed and added to the directory.
You should submit it to both.
Hopefully before the current dance/update is over, we'll see the directory updated.
As for how to get your site into the Google Directory, submit your site to the most relevant category at dmoz. If it's accepted and listed, it will eventually show up in the Google Directory.
I see hutcheson was a bit quicker
It could be that the category where your site is listed in the google directory no longer exits in ODP. Since the google directory hasn't been updated with the most recent ODP data, that might explain what you're seeing. (If I haven't confused you too much.)
You might want to check ODP to see where your site is now located. Try doing an ODP search on your domain without the "www" or the extension. For example "mydomain".
I don't know what to advise about resubmitting.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Trodda. Is there a category listed for your site in Google's new index? If there is, this is the category that your site was moved to in the ODP. There have been quite a few changes at dmoz and Google hasn't updated their directory for quite some time.
It is possible that your url will not show up using the search feature at dmoz if your listing was moved to another category by an editor without editing priveleges in the new category. This would place your listing in with the unreviewed submissions until an editor that does have permissions to edit there comes along.
If you can't find your listing in dmoz you can inquire about it at the Resource Zone.
Unfortunately, my Google Dir listing is still under the old category, but one of my new products has suddenly appeared on its own in DMOZ. Are you allowed to have more than one entry in ODP? (eg in the case of more than one product)
Also when I look at the category on Google Dir that I am supposedly listed under, I don't see my site anywhere, not even in the cached version. Any idea how this works?
Thanks
