hi, i was wondering if that would be regarded by dmoz
as cheating or not. my .com is in english but i would
like to have my company domain .fr --for french customers
if i get my website listed in dmoz in the world:francais
directory is that alright.

it's going to be a duplicate of the mycompany.com website
but entirely in french. and would be mycompany.fr

can anyone out there help me out.

thanxs

If it's in French, you should be able to have it listed in that section of the directory.

Think for a moment about the stated goal of ODP. It has to do with helping those who are searching.

If I speak French but not English, the English version of the site isn't going to help me much.

(*Note: That is not to say that it will be listed, only that logically, it should be.)
