DMOZ under a heavy load

When performing a search DMOZ seems to be in trouble often.

When I try to do a search on DMOZ I often get the following message;
The Open Directory search is currently under a heavy load. Please try back later.
No Open Directory Project results found

Is this another update or something else?

Looks like not all editors read dashboard notices ;-)

For all ODP editors: Please have a look at your editor dashboard for some information how to handle slow editing at the moment.

Remarkable that ODP editors have to come to WebmasterWorld for this information ;)

Pages load faster here, with lots fewer 404s/timeouts. ;) Maybe Brett can build in some editing tools...

Lotsa folks never bother to go through the dmoz.org front page login (and hence don't see their dashboard).
