It appears DMOZ has been shut down.

Anyone have any information...has Netscape pulled the plug on the DMOZ project?

Will the site be down for six months?

Will they ever publish any information?

Will it rain today?

DMOZ [dmoz.com] is working just fine for me. :)

No ... it won't rain today (in the BVI that is!)

They announced this earlier. Hardware replacement.

If Netscaape pulled the plug and they never published any more information there wouldn't be anything for everyone to complain about all the time. DMOZ is just a conspiracy to sell more high blood pressure medication. It won't go away any time soon.

I'll be responding to your posts, skibum, but first I have to run to the pharmacy to get my blood pressure medication. Back soon. :)

There was a planned outage to replace some bad hardware. That's happened and the new stuff is reported as working well.

Not great news for those waiting for the RDF dump (which includes me): it had to be restarted from the beginning after the shutdown.

There was this great big line at the pharmacy counter this afternoon...
