La Toile du Québec beats Yahoo France in PR

In French directories that is...

A first for me.

I was shopping for directories to list some sites at the usual place [directory.google.com] and I just found out this.

I believe its the first time La Toile gets a better PR than Yahoo France.

It appears to be at least affiliated with Google, which might explain the PR. Or am I misinterpreting that?

Yes, Google provides secondary results for La Toile. It is also a option to use Google directly from La Toile. Referrals can show up in 3 ways :

web.toile.com/
for Google searches and backfills. about 38 %

recherche.toile.qc.ca/
for the directory search box. about 36 %

www.toile.qc.ca/
for directory browsing. about 26 %

Figures are from sites with local interests (90 % and above of visitors from here)

As far I remember, La Toile was in second spot under Yahoo.fr in Google's directory.
