What is the latest on DMOZ RDF dump updates?

Last "weekly" update was 9/22/2002

I apologize for creating a new thread on this topic since one already exists (When will RDF "dump" be updated?), but the other thread is "locked".

The discussion in the previous thread ended about a month ago, but the overall message was that hardware problems had been fixed and there was confidence that the rdf updates would resume shortly.

Would someone please provide an updated status?

I believe that the staff are trying to get a new dump out by Christmas, but that was only a possibility, so it may be January before we see a working rdf dump.

I haven't seen any suggestion of any time frame on the internal ODP editor forums. IIRC it was indicated that there was a software problem that was preventing a RDF dump. Thus, I guess it is more a matter of them fixing the bugs. If they knew the bug, they'd have fixed it already and done a dump. The dump definitely is way overdue.
