ODP 2nd & 4th of Oct subs no Joy?

Hi all I post this because I know some ODP editors post in here.

I submitted two straight clean sites to dmoz on 2nd and 4th Oct and received no joy yet.

One was caught up in an IP failure but should apparently have been submitted ok anyhow though because of misunderstanding I posted it a few times. (could not see that old post in here when I browsed through)

No live editors in either category.
Know about work apparently going on behind the scenes but how long should I wait before trying again?

There is afaikt nothing in the sites to exclude them and I have not had trouble with this type of site before.

Don't keep resubmitting. Instead wait a month or two and then email the category editor (but be aware that editors do not have to reply to email). If unsuccessful wait another month and try editors higher up the tree. Any editor, at any level, named in a category can edit in all of the categories in the branch, below that point. You could also try asking in a forum, but read the posting guidelines of the forum first.

Hi g1smd, well it has been more than a month since initial submit. Perhaps I will give it a week or two more then take your advice and email an editor.
