How do i do this (sorry im a bit new to this area)

You enter your URL, then enter the URLs of some competitors. You pick the area of business or industry that you are in, and it will give you a listing of your site and several other sites that are similar to yours. Then it tells you the number of incoming links to each site as listed in various search engines.
You can use that list to VIEW the incoming links to other sites. Based on that, you can usually find many directories and web sites with link pages.
