The time has come to follow up on the legion of access error messages from ODP's Robozilla. For site owners, it's worthwhile to make sure all your sites are live and accessible. Editors will be reviewing sites red-tagged by 'Zilla to see if they still exist. If the editor also can't reach the site, odds are it will be deleted, or unreviewed and stowed for a check later on.

It wouldn't hurt to periodically check your ODP listings from time to time. Although unlikely, it is possible some editors will just kill listings that are red-tagged without verifying the site is really gone. If Robozilla was unable to reach your site in its last crawl, your site could be one of those. Keep an eye on your listings....

Robozilla makes *several* visits before red-marking the site listings; thereby avoiding most short-duration down times as false triggers.

Most editors also try to find a new URL for the site, using various available resources before deciding whether to remove a non-working listing.
