Does anyone have any input on fazzle? Does it deliver a lot of traffic? Any information would be appreciated, thanks.

Zero Traffic, Never seen it before :D From the looks of the results I don't like the results much as its too 'busy' for my eyes. Seems they have affiliate program too.

It used to be found at [searchonline.info...]

It says on the site:
Many users have found the .info address confusing in the past, and have suggested we move to a .com. So, in our continued efforts to listen to our user's feedback, we have recently made the transition from SearchOnline.info to Fazzle.com.

Actually we pull in between 800k and 1.2 million monthly unique visits. However, most of that is aggregated over our affiliate network. We're changing our redirection scripts for clickthroughs and the way our affiliate traffic is logged so it is all generated from the same domain. You will see a signifigant spike in our Alexa rankings by the end of June.

Fazzle.com recently ranked among the top ten best in the world in Internet.com's Searchenginewatch 2002 awards for meta-search engines. In addition, we have been reviewed by many magazines and newspapers around the world -- and invariably praised by every editorial review. Drop support a note and we can forward some articles if interested.

Yes, we admit, our result structure is more complex than other engines. However, we decided to focus on areas we felt other engines were lacking in.

Retrieval of data is only one step in the online research process -- on Fazzle we have integrated the ability to email results from the result list directly to your desktop or to friends, save results in an online folder style favorite system for ease of access regardless of where you are, resort and manipulate the results in a variety of ways, and have integrated capabilities to search more than 120 resources - from Nasa to entertainment databases.

lol We're following Goggle's and several other engines very wise lead -- and make an effort to keep apprised and involved in all Forum posts we notice that come in from our traffic logs.

Spamming Forums with unwanted posts only creates a negative impression of a company. The traffic isn't worth it and can easily be found using more legitimate means. Over a year ago we made the mistake of posting an unsolicited message to a forum one of our technicians participates in and painfully learned how unwise it was to do so!

Suspicion is expected, in fact, we quit responding to Forum posts for several months because of it. With time as we become better known we feel confident the quality in our Search Engine and our prompt response to our users queries will earn us a good reputation in the industry. ;-)

btw, if you get 800K - 1.2 million users / and or queries per month, how on earth did you know that you had been mentioned here so quickly?

I mean, I have a few sites that are ranked above fazzle on Alexa...and, I don't watch the logs / keep up with the referrals as quick as all that!

A search engine I was involved with was mentioned here, and I didn't find out till weeks later. :)

Though I have to say, the traffic for that engine was a LOT less than what you mentioned fazzle is getting.

lol, cousins

I feel I still need to hear more about customer satisfaction before I sign up with you guys. Of course, Google is the main concern for us as I'm sure it is for everyone right now...so I think I'll wait for now.

Jeremy - Good question. We pride ourselves on our technology and creative approaches to implementation. Granted when doing something different response will always be varied. You can't please all the people all the time.

We noticed long ago a need to quickly indentify new links our traffic logs detect. Every URL is parsed, and new ones dumped into a report that is generated every three hours.

If other webmasters have the capability to manipulate and manage their traffic logs -- we highly suggest doing the same. It has proven to be an invaluable tool for us.

KingCrazy, that post doesn't make sense. Sorry dude, perhaps you could rephrase?

And...if you do a search on Google for Fazzle, you'll see the link from Url wire in November (about six months ago) referring to some 'search engine optimization articles' that are going to be available at Fazzle.

However, I didn't see any of those when I looked there - to top it off, most (if not all?) search engines that I have seen in the past that offer SEO tools / articles / services, usually are run by an optimization firm, and NOT a 'real' saerch engine company.

If you look at most of the major engines, the relationship is cordial, but far from 'open & helpful' as the tone seems to indicate in the url wire review of the site / intentions, etc.

After a fashion - the goals are very different of SEO's & search engines, because SEO's want to bend the search engine to their will. Most, if not all, search engines want the opposite: to have impartial results that cater to their USERS, and SEO's can fly a kite for all they care. :)

Jeremy -- we've created a couple useful tools. Link popularity that pulls in links from multiple engines, removed duplicates, and delivers them in one result list. Users can then use the email feature to send the links to their desktop.

Also, a keyword checker that allows you to see where a domain is ranked on several engines at once by entering a keyword and a domain.

We're cautious about responding to this as it may be in conflict with your tserms of service. If so, we apologize. The URL wire article (I believe) had the link to the webmarketing section on our site.
