I am very excited that people are trying Gigablast's free site search service and Gigaboost. Gigablast's almost-instant indexing makes the free site service worthwhile and please if you haven't tried it on your site, give it a shot and let me know about any specific problems. Unfortunately, non-english pages may have difficulty getting all of their words indexed. I should have this fixed in the next week or two.
Thanks, Matt

I think it's safe to say we are all excited, Matt - thanks for stopping by again!
Most of us are anxiously awaiting the next best thing in search engines and at this point, it could be anybody.

lo matt, still hakre here. my on the fly added testing page won't show up since hours. there is only one link (has been indexed days ago) which will return as hit. but: it's totally independent what my search query is, even words which do not exist on that page. :( hmm. something seems defenetly not to work.

Oops, I just reinstalled it, and now it works fine. Guess I must have been editing it somehow before. Sorry for bothering you! [added] And I just found out how to remove a page that does not exist any more: simply submit its URL [/added]

hakre,
gigablast is one of the few search engines that ORs your query terms, it does not AND the query terms like other engines. You can get the affect of ANDing by putting a plus sign ('+') before each query term that should be required in your query. You can also use the cgi parameters in the advanced search to do this automatically through your site search interface.

Off topic Matt ... my apologies.
Gigablast seems to have quite a bit of spam at the top of the serps. Do you have any plans to filter some of it out?
