New search engine WiseNut officially launched today sporting a new look and much faster results than the beta:

I've been picking up some referrals from wisenut. Nice and fast, clean. I think they need to do better job at spam filtering, also I am getting a lot of foreign (to me) language results.

Overall, a nice experience.

Like many people here, I'm ranking well.

I suspect people who rank well in google will rank well here as well.

Too bad the sneek-a-peek feature doesn't work wellfor my site, since my site breaks out of frames

From my experience, I agree; I rank well in Google, and I have almost the exact same position on WiseNut for my primary kws as on Google. When I first learned of Wisenut and visited them, I would have sworn, for my sites, they simply copied Google results. But I'm not complaining. :) I would judge WN slower, though, than Google in returning results.

>Does that mascot remind anybody of Jeeves?
Reminds me of Pringles crisps guy ;)

Also I think wisenut is following this disccussion -- I can't find white text on red anywhere ;) (except "in is a very common word")
