I've been hit recently by a SE that I couldn't retrieve here.

UA: Zippy v2.0 - Zippyfinder.com
IP: 64.224.2.49

It appears to be a small SE. Anybody else seen this one?

Submitted my 'toplevel' page to it, wonder how much traffic it'll generate.

Looks like a free submission, and worst case, another link to my site, that might be of value with the bigger se's

Never heard of that one... looks a little on the weak side, but every little bit counts. Thanks for the heads up.

They look like they have their own db, but the results leave a lot to be desired. Anyone can throw together an engine like that, but this is a little disturbing:

If any of these tags are missing from your website's code, your listing will likely be useless. This is nothing new as most modern search engines use the same system.

Even though the site is referring to meta keywords and desription tags, I find the assumption arrogant, and uncalled for. Google, Wisenut, and even most of the other search engines anymore, hardly use the meta tags, because of past abuse, and are really only for the web site promoter or developer to control the way the site appears in search results, and don't always give descriptive, accurate, or truthful information.
