Site is very specific on Widgetry.

I have 500 pages I need the SE's to pick up.. I am trying to figure how the linking should happen?

My first attempt, which is ready to go -but not yet spiderable is:

Static1.asp -> Links to files 1-200.asp
Static2.asp -> Links to files 201-300.asp
Static3.asp -> Links to files 301-500.asp
.. and so on (each page being no more than 40k)

Now on each of these pages are links at header and footer as navigation component as:
1 ¦ 2 ¦ 3 etc..

So all of these pages interconnected.

What are the best principles to follow to keep the SE attentive and not think its spammy?(because it's not, solid info) I dont mind much if the StaticX pages are in the endinge as much as the sub-pages, so I'm just trying to feed it..?

Thanks.

Can't find the exact link right now, I'm sure someone else will point it out.

Google suggests that you keep links per page under 100. Your strategy may work, try more pages with less than 100 links per page.

I suggest u use pagination and keep links to less than 60 which is even better.

Just have 5 static pages instead of 3 and I think it would be better to use a name different than static1,2,3...

Google's Webmaster Guidelines [google.com] suggest having a site map and keeping it under 100 links per page.
