I design a small website for a company my sister and I run. I design and manage the website while my sister goes out, hunts for Links and manages them (poor girl). She used to use Link to Link, but it just recently died on her and the website for them doesn't seem to be working anymore.

Does anyone know of a links program that will verify the people that are linking back to us, similar to the Link to link? She's got a database for all her links, but she wants to check to make sure they are still linking with us. Even a program we have to pay a bit of money for, as long as it's worth it.

Have you tried looking at any of these?

I would be cautious with organized link programs, Spiral. Google has penalized some of these in the past. I would focus on custom links rather than mass link programs. If you encounter a program, check the PR of the home site and its participants for starters. Even if the sites aren't penalized, I would still be very careful with anything that could be construed as an artificial linking scheme.

By the way, WELCOME to WebmasterWorld! :)

Thank you! :)

Though I guess I wrote the wrong terms (chalk it up to morning posting). I meant a program for the computer to help verify links, sort of like Link to Link. She manually goes out and finds links, but she wants to know if they are keeping their end of the bargain, or even if they are still in business, without clicking on every link on our link pages.
