i like to ask silly question slap me if you feel it was too silly but i want to know when you sign guest book on site which have very high pr does that benifit my site and do the search engines index guest books. i did a search for sign my guest book on google and it came back with loads of results lots of serch results hadvery high pr even on the guestbook.
if the answer is yes then should i sign those books with few nice words about that thier website.

The short answer > yes.

The bit longer one > they can, and do, however, be selective > not just PR wise but topic wise.

There are better ways to get links > and although guest will help a bit, but in the long run, most of the time you spend submitting your URL will be under-productive as these sites generally have a "short life pand in Google" and susceptible to penalties.

If they do get penalize in the future > no concern to you, other than the time you wasted.
