Is this type of Link Possible?

I am trying to make some links open into new windows (www.widgets.com/widget.html target="_blank">Widget</a>

What I would like is to make this open into a 500px window and not the whole screen or a partial.

Is this possible without using a javascript?

If you want to open it in 500px, that means you want to specify this. You have to use a scripting technology to do this and as far as what I know from my 6 yerars experience is that this is not possible!

Anybody, might, find an alternate solution which I feel won't exist), might post here.

Not that I am aware of. However, as the desired effect can be done with Javascript > do so... and simple add another "slightly obscure" link so the the site retains spider food. (if you don't need spider food > just make it JavaScript only)
