Hi, new to this board!

I need to have a site www.foo.com to be crawled by google, but not surfed by anybody else, what I mean is that peeps can access it only if we give them a direct URL(like, www.foo.com/bar/else.htm), but I want it to be indexed by Google(the pages, not the www.foo.com/index.html).I was wondering if I could with DIVs hide a link behind a login form(that no one will be able to login to)? Will googlebot crawl that?(hidden link in a DIV)

Dunno if I'm making myself clear, tho...

TIA!

I don't think Google really wants you to do that:

Make pages for users, not for search engines. Avoid hidden text or hidden links. [google.com]

This works well....until White Hat Jack and his shiny Google secret decoder ring come along.

Be more creative, keep all the css external and make the DIV have a legit purpose.
