Domain Site...?

Hi All,

At the moment i have a web design site which is in a www.stuff.com format. What I want to do is purchase the www.stuff.com.au domain....

What I wanted to know is that if i purchased the .au domain and copied the entire contents of the .com to the .au site - then submitted the .au site to the open directory project......(currently my .com site is in the odp)

will it:

1) Increase my pr value for the .com site?

Basically what are the advantages and disadvantages of doing something like this? (would this be considered cloaking?)

This would be considered a mirror if it is duplicate content. It is not worth the time or cost. If you want to create region specific information that is not duplicate content, but information only for australia then that would be OK. I just can't imagine that your .com is not already regionally focused.
